Guillermo von Plocki nació en Córdoba, Argentina.
Estudió en la Akademie fürs Graphische Gewerbe, Múnich, Alemania. Después de trabajar como diseñador gráfico e ilustrador en esta ciudad, se mudó para Brasil. Allí se dedicó definitivamente a la docencia y a la pintura. Inicialmente en Fortaleza, más tarde en São Paulo, donde ha leccionado pintura y participado de innmeras muestras en Brasil, Argentina, Chile, Alemania y España.
Actualmente reside en Madrid.

Guillermo von Plocki was born in Córdoba, Argentina.
He studied at the Akademie fürs Graphische Gewerbe,
Munich, Germany. After working as a graphic designer and illustrator in this city, he moved to Brazil. There, he devotes himself permanently to teaching and painting. Initially in Fortaleza, later in São Paulo, where he has taught painting and participated in numerous exhibitions in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Germany and Spain.
He currently lives in Madrid.

La Naturaleza há sido y será mi mayor fuente de inspiración
Série Atados
Desde tiempos remotos la humanidad ha hecho uso de místicos objetos para sobrellevar su día a día. semillas, piedras, fragmentos de madera, piezas frecuentemente heredadas de sus antepasados repletas de simbología espiritual.
En la selva virgen brasileña, en las afueras de
São Paulo, el artista crea objetos a partir de partes encontradas en la naturaleza, que asociadas le hacen referencia a otros tiempos.
Los dibujos por su parte son representaciones bidimensionales del objeto, la intención del artista es trasmitir ese mismo sentimiento que ha obtenido construyendo el objeto

Nature has been and will be my greatest source of inspiration
Serie Atados (ties)
Since ancient times, humanity has made use of mystical objects to survive its daily life: seeds, stones, wood fragments, pieces often inherited from their ancestors full of spiritual symbolism.
In the Brazilian virgin forest, outside São Paulo, the artist creates objects from parts found in nature, which are associated with other times.
The drawings are two-dimensional representations of the object, the artist's intention is to transmit the same feeling he has obtained by constructing the object
